Founded in 2014, TOVI began as a Massachusetts-based startup with manufacturing roots in New Hampshire. From day one, our mission has been to push the limits of hockey technology and provide players with equipment that gives them a true edge on the ice.
The vision started with Tovi Avnery, an engineer and innovator who was originally exploring advancements in football equipment. His passion for performance and technology soon found a new home in hockey. Together with a small team of founders, he set out to reinvent the hockey stick from the inside out.
Through countless prototypes and experiments with advanced carbon fiber materials, our engineers developed a core-less blade design. This patented technology eliminates the need for a foam core, resulting in a blade that’s lighter, more aerodynamic, and delivers an unmatched “feel” for the puck. Using a proprietary carbon fiber compression molding process, TOVI sticks maintain their pop, power, and precision far longer than traditional composite sticks.
In 2021, TOVI’s groundbreaking technology earned official NHL approval, opening the door for professional players to experience the future of hockey sticks.
